I disgraced you,
By misplacing me.
You'll never know,
I'm locked up,
Destroyed key.
And ignore them
If you hear them say
"That girl's a complement,
She doesn't stand on her own."

A room full of strangers
That I know so well
Far away from conventional dangers
But still so close to Hell.
One day,
I'll 'scape this cage
Fly so far away
I'll step away from this stage
And fade into yesterday.

We lie here
Not a sound from
Our lips.
Underneath a sky
Lit only by the
Stars.
Our hands,
Our fingers
Interlaced.
Not a sigh,
Cry,
Complaint
Between us.
And if we could spend
Our time
Like this for
Eternity,
We'd be here
Til end of time.
No one else could steal
A second.
The only sound,
A periodic
"I love you."
I'd give up everything
For simply this.

There are two,
But I am one.
Two different options,
Completely.
I feign indifference
Towards one half
And claim the second
My other.
No new story
To tell.
No rarity
To claim.
Still,
It's hard
All the same.
If only I
Could combine.
Or simply
Clear one
From mind.
I suppose
It'll just
Take time.

Blowing the bones

Of Dandelions

In hopes to bring gold,

Yet, they

Scream self-sacrifice

And change.

Only to bring skeletons o' plenty.

An omen of the future

And a bittersweet memory of the past.

Nothing looks the same when returned to.

Glorified

Or

Sullen.

Never between.

And yet,

We grow on.

Not knowing

When tender lips

Will blow us away.

Forgotten,

With the wind.

He teases me
With those magnetic brown eyes.
He torments me
With a whisper of his soothing voice.
He conquers me
With the soft caresses from rough hands.
This brute holds all the power.
He deserves not my love,
But claims every last drop.
I can't escape.
His grasp knows no limits
And thoughts of him need no rest.
I can't escape alone, 
But to build an army
Would be instant death.
He would kill me with sharp
Words so sweet and secretly
Laced with the most potent
Venom.
Love seethes from my veins.
Fear from my core.
Either kill it or
Cure it.

My head is filled
With fuzzy static
And sharp silence
I wish I could
Change the channel
I wish I could
Put something on
I've misplaced
The remote
And cannot reach
The knob
I'm stuck
On this
Nothingness.

Awake at the helm
On my ship
That travels
Asphalt through
The street light lit
Passageways.
Through these
Starlit hours
And through all
These lonely miles.
Only One thing
Comes to my mind:
You.

Blind-folded judgement,
We dance our way
'Neath the sheets
To extinguish the flame
Our eyes started,
Our words fed,
And our bodies engulfed.
We're left a heap
Of rubble and ash.

Dreamless slumber
Twisted between
And tied up in
The sheets
Sweat and
Heavy breathing
Silent screams
Pseudo-trembles.
I've no one
To fight off
My nightmares.
